Wine Cellar Gates, 6’x7’, forged wrought iron, Finley Point, Montana.  These gates are part of a wine cellar project that involved beam straps, several gates, lighting fixtures, and misc other hardware.  The gates are forged entirely of antique wrought iron, and feature lever actuated cane bolts to latch them to floor and ceiling.  The leaves are loosely styled impressions of grape leaves, forged from bars with no cutting or grinding.  The process section of this website documents the steps used in forging them.
